To be eligible for discounts offered by the by the federal E-rate program, Benton Area School District must ensure that all district owned devices (desktop, laptops, and tablets) have Internet content filtering on them.  To meet this requirement the BASD Technology Office utilizes the product Securly Filter owned by the parent company Securly.

Additionally, another requirement of CIPA is for schools to monitor the online activities of minors.  For Internet monitoring features BASD again utilizes the Securly Filter.
