Students in Mr. Noss' classes had the opportunity to enter the Young Writers creative writing competition. Lily Canouse, Lia Scheib, and Emily Gennaria were invited to have their work published in an upcoming anthology Stranger Sagas - The Dark Side.
Lycoming CTC will hold an open house Tuesday, January 13, 2025 from 4:30-6:30. Ninth grade students interested in attending LycoCTC next year are encouraged to attend with their parents.

NHS and NJHS will sponsor a hat day on Monday, December 22. The cost will be a dollar. We will donate all collected funds to the Benton playground project. Students may wear any type of hat, but we are offering a prize for the best Christmas hat.
All NHS and NJHS members are expected to contribute by wearing a hat and/or paying a dollar.

To help you get in the holiday spirit, the L.R. Appleman Elementary School is hosting Christmas in the Park from 5:30-7:30 tonight. Elementary students have decorated Christmas trees, there will be performances by the Mixed Ensemble and Santa Claus and some of his reindeer will be there. The PTC will be selling food and also distributing wreaths that were sold recently. Please bundle up and come on down to enjoy the festivities!
