The federal government is trying to expand internet access to everyone in the country with a program called Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD). In order to help gather information, residents from Columbia, Montour, Snyder, Union and Northumberland Counties are asked to complete an Internet speed test from their residence. To allow students, staff and community members the opportunity to attend Brandon Kocher's memorial service, the "Sound of the Season" band and chorus concert is being rescheduled to Monday, December 11 at 7pm. Band members should arrive at 6:15 and chorus members at 6:30.
The Benton Area School District students (and staff) are asked to participate in a dress up day, tomorrow, Friday, December 8th, in memory of Brandon Kocher, a student that passed away yesterday, December 6th. We will all be wearing our boots, flannel shirts and hats in remembrance of Brandon. We will also be accepting monetary donations to give to the family during this difficult time.
The Middle-Senior HS "Sounds of the Season" band and chorus concert is this Sunday Dec. 10th at 2pm. Admission is free. Students should wear concert black and white. Band reports at 1:15. Chorus reports at 1:30. Information is posted on the school's website. Come on out and enjoy this festive holiday concert.
